About this event
5:45 start time for May!
The Tuesday night Slaughterfest is a self-supported ride intended for cyclists who already possess the bike handling skills and fitness level to safely ride in a rotating pace line at a sustained high level of effort for at least 35 miles. These cyclists like to ride fast, hard, and far. The ride is intended for strong cyclists who want to improve their skills and fitness while practicing group riding techniques. Expect optional sprints, time trials, and go-fast zones. Route and stop for re-grouping will be anounced at the start of the ride. RIders are allowed to split off the pack, but please announce your intentions at the beginning of the ride.
Ride Classifications:
Group #1 Pro 23+ MPH 35-42 miles, one stop
Group #2 Expert 20-25 MPH 35-42 miles, one stop
Group #3 Sport 1-20 MPH 30 miles one stop
Riders self-select which group to join. Riders who start with the Pro group and find the pace too difficult can fall back and join the Expert or Sport groups. Maps will be available.
No helmet = no ride, No Sweep, No SAG
In case of poor riding conditions, the ride may be cancelled ahead of time. Cancellations will be posted on the TCC Website.
