About this event

Class A+, 10 Miles

The TT is 10 miles: 5 miles out and 5 miles back on Stark Road. It's a solo ride against the clock, so each rider goes at their own speed, though the goal is to go flat out if you want to get your best time. The ride starts from the Living Word church parking lot at the corner of Stark Road and Letts Road, 1 mile north of US-10 freeway on Stark Road.

Riders use everything from mountain bikes to tricked out time trial machines, but the only thing that counts is how your time compares to previous times.  Riders set goals for themselves of trying to reach a personal best, staying under a certain barrier, or improving a certain percentage during the season.

This type of riding is a proven way to increase your skill, capability, and comfort in all types of cycling, without the risk associated with racing in a pack.  You will meet all sorts of experienced riders who can offer advice from what type of water bottle you should consider, to what your next bike should be.

Some riders come every week, some only once or twice during the year.  Many cyclists meet somewhere in Midland and ride to the start for a warm-up ride, then ride back home as a cool down.
